  • Search Queries: Keywords used when searching for products via our integrated retailer search.

C. Device and Connection Information We automatically collect information about your device, including:

  • Device model and operating system version.

  • Unique device identifiers (to manage your session).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Core Functionality: To display your wishlist to members of your GroupLysts and to display their wishlists to you.
  • Coordination: To update the status of items (e.g., showing an item as "Purchased" to prevent duplicates) in real-time across the group.
  • Account Management: To manage your registration, login, and account preferences.
  • Communication: To send you service-related notifications (e.g., "You have been invited to a new GroupLyst").
  • Improvement: To analyze usage trends and improve the App’s performance.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

A. Within GroupLysts (User-to-User) This is the core function of LystGenie. By joining a SoloLYst or GroupLyst, you consent to sharing your wishlist and profile information with other members of that specific group.

  • Group members can see your wishlist items.
  • Group members can you what you have added to other member’s wishlist

B. Third-Party Service Providers We may share data with third-party vendors who perform services for us, such as:

  • Cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud).
  • Analytics providers (to help us understand app usage).

C. Legal Requirements We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

4. Third-Party Retailers and Links

LystGenie includes a search feature that allows you to find products from major retailers (e.g., Amazon, Target, Walmart).

  • No Liability: We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, or content of these third-party sites. Any information you provide to those retailers (including payment info) is governed by their specific privacy policies.

Note to Parents: If you wish to create a wishlist for a child, we recommend creating a managed profile under a parent's account rather than creating a standalone account for the child.
